          • EXCHANGE OF STUDENTS IN CANILLAS, SPAIN

             From May 11 to 18, 2024. an exchange of students of Primary School No. 13 in Zawiercie, Poland with the CEIP Virgen de la Cabeza in Canillas de Aceitunokn, Spain took place. During their stay in Spain, Polish students visited the partner school and had the opportunity to observe classes taking place there. They participated in chemistry workshops, conducting numerous experiments, IT workshops on 3D printing and robotics workshops. During field activities, they took photos of plants and animals typical of Andalusia and created online albums. They solved geographical tasks as well as those related to other science subjects. They visited Malaga, Granada and Ronda, learning about Spanish cultural heritage, traditions and history. There were also sports activities in Torre del Mar - students tried their hand at kayaking under the supervision of instructors. During their stay, they were accommodated with partner families, thanks to which they had the opportunity to improve their English and exchange experiences.

            While visiting Torre del Mar, the students' task wias to walk the route from Fuente de la Solidaridad to FuenteVirgen del Carmen, performing several tasks.

            IT CLASSES

            During IT classes the students  designed objects for 3D prnting. They cooperated in international teams.

            ROBOTICS WORKSHOPS

             

            PLANTS & ANIMALS OF ANDALUSIA

            While hiking in the mountains, the students were taking photos of plants and animals typical for Andalusia. In international teams they prepared  albums: “Plants of Andalusia’ and “Animals of Andalusia”. There was a discussion on the difference between Polish and Spanish nature.

            TECHNOLOGY AND ART  IN ANDALUSIA

            While visiting, the students took photos of scientific and technological objects or monuments/exhibits connected with science and technology.

            CORRIDA

            Getting to know the history of corrida;. What is corrida de toros? Corrida de toros – Spanish tradition or animal abuse? - discussion. The students presented adventages and disadventages of Corrida.
