            Students from Poland, Spain, and Portugal worked together to create an illustrated digital glossary of computer and internet terms. In international teams, they researched IT vocabulary in English, translated it into Polish, Spanish, and Portuguese, and selected appropriate visual materials from the Internet to illustrate each term. The joint work encouraged creativity, improved digital and language skills, and promoted intercultural cooperation and teamwork among students from the three partner schools.

            Each international group, was responsible for a specific area of IT terminology.

            • Group 1 focused on basic computer components, such as hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
            • Group 2 worked on internet and networking terms, explaining how the web and online communication function.
            • Group 3 prepared entries about cybersecurity, including passwords, data protection, and online safety.
            • Group 4 developed a section about programming and coding, covering basic concepts and languages.
            • Group 5 created glossary terms related to digital tools and applications used in everyday learning and work.
            • Group 6 was responsible for AI and modern technologies, presenting the newest trends like artificial intelligence, robotics, and cloud computing.

            Each group collaborated online, exchanged ideas, and contributed their work to a shared digital document. The result was a rich, multilingual glossary that reflects the creativity, teamwork, and technological curiosity of all participating students. The joint work in Canva allowed all groups not only to create content, translations, and illustrations, but also to develop their digital, language, and international teamwork skills.

            DIGITAL GARDEN

            As part of the Happy IT project, students from Poland, Spain, and Portugal jointly created a digital story titled “The Digital Garden,” which symbolizes friendship and responsible use of technology. Each international group wrote its own chapter of the story and added a “flower” to the virtual garden — a Polish sunflower, a Spanish poppy, and a Portuguese hydrangea — representing values such as kindness, cooperation, and online safety. The students communicated online, exchanged ideas in English, created illustrations, and made joint decisions about the shape of the story. Through this collaboration, they learned that technology can connect people from different countries and help build a positive, international learning community.  

            EVALUATION

            The partner schools conduct evaluation within the HAPPY IT project to systematically monitor progress, ensure the quality of activities, and verify whether the project’s objectives are being effectively achieved. Evaluation also helps the school adjust actions when needed and improve cooperation among partners.

            The evaluation process takes place continuously and at several key stages:

            • Ongoing evaluation – during project meetings and regular communication between partners, where the team discusses progress, solves emerging problems, and adjusts tasks.
            • After each mobility – following student exchanges, teacher courses and job-shadowing visits, participants complete surveys, take part in reflection meetings, and provide feedback on the organization, learning outcomes, and impact of the activity.
            • After the first project year – the school conducts a broader analysis of results, checking whether planned objectives have been met and identifying areas for improvement for the second year.
            • Final evaluation – carried out at the end of the project to summarise achievements, assess the long-term impact on students and teachers, and develop recommendations for future international activities.
