QR CODES
Teachers use modern technology to prepare tests and worksheets. An example is the test prepared for grade 4 entitled "Safely at school and on the road". An answer sheet with a generated QR code was prepared for the test. Then, after the student filled it in, the teacher took a photo and the results were generated into an Excel file.
Journey through the Solar System
Subject: Natural sciences
Grade: 1
Lesson topic: Planets of the Solar System
Tools: Merge Explorer app, Merge Cubes, worksheets, multimedia board, cube
The teacher introduces students to the Merge Explorer app, which allows for the exploration of planet models in augmented reality.
The teacher displays a model of the Earth in the app on the screen and shows students how to rotate the planet, zoom in, zoom out, and view it from different angles. Then the teacher turns on the next planets and presents them with different features.
The teacher divides students into small groups, and each student receives a tablet or access to a device with the app. Each group is tasked with "finding" the planets of the Solar System in the app, observing them in 3D, and then listing the features of the planets.
Information Technology
Teachers and students use modern technologies in their work. At the end of the first term, students of 7th grade assessed their own and their classmates' behaviour by filling out a form prepared in MS Forms. Then they discussed the results together, which were generated in the form of column and percentage charts for each student, as well as QR codes. The teacher additionally analysed the results in the generated file in MS Excel.
ICT tools during lesson of pupils of 2nd Grade
Topic: Familiarization with the reading "The Little Match Girl".
Students are divided into small groups. Each group receives cards with QR codes that lead to various resources, e.g.: animated image and voice of H. H. Andersen generated by AI, a song related to the fairy tale, Wordwall, Kahoot application. At the end of the lesson there was a presentation of the results of the group work.
The lesson of English - Will or Be Going To. Reminder and consolidation.
1st Grade- mathematics and natural science education with ICT
Topic: Learning the names of months, their order and seasons using the ChatGPT tool.
During the lesson there was Introduction of the ChatGPT tool: the teacher showed how to ask a ChatGPT question about the names of months. Students used ChatGPT to check if they remember the names of months correctly. Students asked a ChatGPT question about assigning months to individual seasons and questions about the characteristics of seasons. Groups of students presented created posters. The teacher encouraged further use of ChatGPT in learning.
The Lesson with the use of ICT tools
Topic: Snowstorm – grade 2
Application of ICT tools: smartphone, voice recorder, computer, projector, printer
Course of classes:
- Listening to the poem "Winter" by Bożena Forma
- Careful reading of the next verses (each student receives one verse) - recording the text being read on the voice recorder - familiarizing pupils with the recording function on the smartphone.
- Making art in Paint – drawing a snowflake according to the pattern.
- Searching for a pattern on your phone – internet browser.
- Printing art works.
THE LESSON OF ENGLISH IN POLAND
During lesson of English the students of 7th grade used their mobile phones to solve interactive quizzes in Kahoot. The quizzes checked their knowledge about clouds and waves. The lesson was conducted with the use of CLIL method.
UNUSUAL LESSON IN ROBOTICS LABORATORY
During their visit to the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, students from grades 7 and 8 deepened their knowledge and skills in the field of using modern computer technologies. They discussed issues related to the latest technologies (including artificial intelligence) that are used in our everyday lives. They took on the roles of space engineers and joined a mission to the planet Mars! During the workshops, they built their own LEGO Spike rover equipped with advanced sensors (e.g. color or pressure sensors). They learned how to program their robot so that it could efficiently move around the Martian terrain, avoid obstacles and collect scientific data. They experienced an unforgettable adventure in space! They discovered the secrets of robotics and felt like real NASA scientists. They had the opportunity to develop their skills in mathematics, computer science and physics, while having great fun.
TECHNOLOGY LESSON IN SPAIN
In the technology class, we worked on designing and creating a spinner using Tinkercad as a modeling tool and a 3D printer to bring the project to life. Throughout this activity, students experienced the entire process of digital design and physical production, allowing them to develop skills in both areas.
This activity promoted creativity, precision, and technical skills among the students, while also introducing them to the world of digital design and fabrication, which are key competencies in today's technology landscape.
1The lesson of Citizenship
Classes for students of 3th grades of primary school with the use of VR glasses
Topic: "Kazik's Africa" - a journey through Africa with Kazik
Students put on VR glasses and have the opportunity to take a short journey through Africa. The CLassVR application is used, which takes children to various places in Africa: to the savannah, to tropical forests, on safari. During the "journey", students can see the animals, plants and landscapes that Kazik met in his book.
• VR tasks:
During the journey, students solve simple tasks related to what they see:
o What animals did Kazik meet in Africa? They list them after the journey.
o Where is Africa on the world map?
o What surprised Kazik the most in Africa?
THE LESSON OF GERMAN

Best Friends with a Cat – Programming in Scratch
Topic: First steps – Introduction to Scratch
Grade: 4thStudents are informed that Scratch is free and available online or as a download. The lesson uses Scratch 3.0 installed on classroom computers. The teacher explains parts of the Scratch window and demonstrates button functionality. Instructional videos from dlanauczyciela.pl are shown. Students explore the Scratch interface on their own computers. Task:
Create a Scratch project showing two different sprites on stage after launching. Add a background; Change the names and sizes of the sprites; Optionally, edit their appearance; Sprite 1 should say: "Hello! We’re creating a Safe Internet Code. Share your rules!; Sprite 2 should reply with one or more safety rules; Save the project on the desktop as kodeks.mmmm
ONDORIO
Ondorio is an application designed for automatically checking students’ written work.
First, the teacher needs to prepare a test, quiz, or exam for their students using the Test and Exam Generator. Next, the test and the answer sheets are downloaded. Answer sheets are generated automatically for each group. Each student receives the test and an individual answer sheet on which they mark their responses. After logging in, the teacher takes a photo of the completed work. The correctness of the answers is verified automatically. The application reads both the student’s answers and the number of points awarded by the teacher, then displays the student's percentage score and generates a PDF report with the results. The attached photos show a quiz for Grade 4 in the subject of Technology, on the topic “Traffic Signs,” along with images of answer sheets and generated reports. This tool greatly facilitates teachers' work. It significantly reduces the time needed to assess and analyze students’ work.
ENGLISH AND ICT TOOLS
During English lessons the students prepared materials concerning their favourite films. They used different types of ICT tools and applications. They deepened their vocabulary related to films as well as developed their skills in using modern ICT tools.
Introduction to Scratch, computer science, grade 4
Students worked in Scratch. At the beginning, they recalled the basic principles of working with the program. At the end, they completed the task on their own. It involved inserting 2 characters, a background, and writing scripts in which one character asks the other a question about online safety rules, and the other responds by giving examples. Students also attempted to record the screen using the Snipping Tool.
Polish language education in early primary grades

12IT LESSON IN SPAIN
Spanish students learned how to work with the Zum Core V2 board and Bitbloq programming platform. They discovered what sensors and actuators are, how to connect them, and how to use them to create simple circuits (e.g., LEDs, buzzers, infrared sensors). Through hands-on activities, they practiced logical programming, tested their own codes, solved problems creatively, and collaborated in teams to build functional projects.
